Earlier in the session I dropped 65 check-calling with Kings to el Moby82.
At one point Moby had over 4 full BI's he won off people. He limped or limp-called with every hand preflop, I think if possible he was playing like 95/1/1. I'm not even kidding.

Poker Forum

I put him on something like a suited ace. Definitely didn't anticipate being up against overs. I also made the decision after seeing the flop to come over the top no matter what. I felt like top pair with an open ender was the nuts.

This guy had been very aggressive the entire time I was at the table. I'd been there for about 65 hands or so. He wasn't afraid to pot from UTG, and would come over the top or flat call other raisers.
When I first led out, I figured I was being called by small pairs or weaker aces. I figured AK, AA, KK, QQ would come over the top due to all action.

2 hands later, I put ch1ps on something like AT, maybe even something as strong as AQ suited. Really I was sad to leave this table, but mickjagger817 had position on me and with a shortstack I wasn't in a position to call his reraises. Oh well, I actually almost got felted making a real dumb play early on, so my total buy-in for the table was about $9. I was glad to leave up 3 BI.

The other night I caught a big break after being down. Unfortunately today that's pretty much been the same story. Playing some .5/.10 I just couldn't hit any cards. Here's the backstory. This table has been weird. It was the loosest 6max .10/.25 table I could find. People were smoothcalling raises out of position w/24 off. Reraising over the top w/K6 suited, stuff like that. When I was contemplating the call preflop, I sincerely put him on some kind of ace. I was very very disappointed to see overs to my hand :(. To top it off I said "sorry" and he goes "don't worry, wasn't a bad call". it was very sarcastic under the circumstances. This was the guy who smoothcalled a pot bet w/24 off from the SB.
Oh well, I got sucked out on, I sucked out, it happens to everyone.
I'm getting a lot better at not tilting though, so that's always good. I took Q7 from the SB and flopped top pair, pushed all-in on a board with 1 heart and 2 spades (unders) and got snap called by AK hearts. AK hearts hit runner runner backdoor. That kinda hurt but I barely reacted. Quickest 5 dollars I ever lost.

To top it off I said "sorry" and he goes "don't worry, wasn't a bad call". it was very sarcastic under the circumstances. This was the guy who smoothcalled a pot bet w/24 off from the SB.
Oh well, I got sucked out on, I sucked out, it happens to everyone.
I'm getting a lot better at not tilting though, so that's always good. I took Q7 from the SB and flopped top pair, pushed all-in on a board with 1 heart and 2 spades (unders) and got snap called by AK hearts. AK hearts hit runner runner backdoor. That kinda hurt but I barely reacted. Quickest 5 dollars I ever lost.

Tilt - I turned into a lucky SOB
Ok, so I finally have a roll again on FTP. I've been waiting patiently for a long time. I cashed out some points from this awesome website, rakereport.net
I played some .5/.10 and grinding for probably 3-4 hours straight. I started with a roll just a shade above 56. After that much play I ended down maybe 9-11 dollars. I was frustrated. So what do I do? I fucking tilt. That's what I do. I get frustrated that nothing went my way. I was undisciplined, played hands I promised I wouldn't, and I got worked.
Naturally, I went and played some HU at .25/.50, duh, I'm a donkey.
The first table I played at I got rolled, hard. I bought in short, kissed that goodbye in about 10 hands. The rebought short, same thing. This fuckin guy hit 2 sets and nut straight on me. Every single time I made top pair, something just went horribly wrong.
So with my roll going from 56 to 45 and then 45 to 25, naturally instead of calling it a night I sit at a new table. Luckily I found the only person on FTP besides me who could lose. I bought in short at 10 and he started around 30 or so. The total match lasted 16 hands. These are the 3 biggest hands, for the most part the other 13 hands were folded pre-flop or checked to the river, no real action.

Here is my thinking ....
For the most part I'm pretty passive in pots. If I enter a pot it's likely from a limp. If I raise I've probably got a strong pair or strong ace. This particular hand I thought about raising but decided to limp anyways.
Based on how the play unfolded with the family pot, I thought my KJ was good on the flop. I figured if someone had AJ they would have raised pre-flop. With the heart draw out there I raised it up. The flat call from Napa and Mitey surprised me but not terribly. I put them both on some sort of pair. This was about my 45th hand at the table and they have both had to rebuy. Their play is extremely erratic and my player notes said they would play any face card. The reraise from Momma made me think she had a very strong draw. But I went ahead and called it because I thought I was ahead.
The turn I thought was a good card for me. It was low and gave me a 4 card 2nd nut flush draw. Momma's dollar bet into a 4 dollar pot told me she didn't have a flush, it was more like she was scared money so I called hoping to luckbox on the river.
I should have bet the river, but I've been burned so bad on 4 flush boards I was scared to do it.
Anyways, long story short, napa and mitey are total fish. They played crap like J3 off, 93 off, etc. and they both did it from any position. Mitey had to reload 4-5 times for 4 bucks a pop each time. Napa was a little better, he didn't reload once while I was there but he almost got felted a few times.

I can't believe it, AA actually held up for me. I've lost with AA and KK so many times to runner runner on FTP it's ridiculous.

This hand I'm actually kind of proud of. When Seat 2 took so long to make his play. I figured he didn't know if he should limp in or raise with pockets. Based on the length of time he took, for some reason I put him on 8s or 9s. Once he decided to just limp I potted that shit quick. I'm kind of surprised Seat 5 flat called my pot raise. I was expecting him to fold. But once Seat 2 pushed it all-in and I came back over the top, I think Seat 5 folded something like A8 suited or maybe even AJ suited.
